The University of Adelaide

Established in 1874, the University of Adelaide is Australia’s third-oldest university. Ranked among the world’s top 100 universities. It is associated with five Nobel Prize Laureates and has produced 100 Rhodes Scholars.

Student Life

Because University is not just about getting a degree but about acquiring skills for life, non-academic activities are a valued and long-established part of campus life at the University of Adelaide.

Students enjoy a vibrant social life on campus, with facilities including cafeterias with international food, student clubs, sporting and gym facilities and a UniBar which has an atmosphere of its own and is especially alive during happy hour or with local and touring bands performing throughout the year.

The location of the main North Terrace campus in the central business district allows students to enjoy the café strip of Rundle Street, the city parkland, the cultural boulevard of North Terrace with the State Library, the Museum of South Australia and State Parliament, the Rundle Mall shopping district as well as all the other wonderful features a world class city like Adelaide has to offer.
