Welcome to Adelaide
Adelaide is a vibrant, original and cultured capital that offers a high standard of living in a Mediterranean climate. Did you know that in 2005 Adelaide was voted as one of the world’s top five cities in which to live for lifestyle?
Beautiful beaches, world-class vineyards, an abundance of quality food and wine and a laid back vibe, it’s no wonder that South Australians enjoy such a unique way of life.
Whether it’s making the most of Adelaide’s pumping events calendar, enjoying a meal at your favourite restaurant, or catching up with friends at your local bar, Adelaide has it all to keep you busy after hours.
Maybe you prefer browsing through the 800 shops in Rundle Mall, surfing down at Victor, or watching world-class sporting events? Or if you’re more of a night owl, Adelaide offers enough restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs to keep you busy every night of the week.
All Australian capital cities offer different things. Adelaide is a city where people can still get anywhere within twenty minutes, where you can play cricket on the beach with your family and then enjoy a relaxing beer or wine at any number of bars or cafes. Adelaide is a city full of friendly, outgoing people that are more than willing to tell you how good life in South Australia is.
We will be incorporating an element of these factors into our conference events to showcase the very best of South Australia. This includes the involvement of local businesses and producers in the Taste of SA exhibition and evening social events, and the use of diverse conference venues across the CBD both during the day and in the evening. Furthermore, delegates will have the chance to contribute to a worthy South Australian charity run by three inspirational South Australians.
We hope to provide delegates with a truly “South Aussie” experience, one that they will remember fondly for years to come.
