Committees

At a model UN conference, committees are where all the actions happens!

At AMUNC there will be 15 different committees with a diverse range of topics to debate. If you are new to model UNs and AMUNC, please have a read of the 'How to choose', 'How to prepare' and 'How committees work' pages. They contain valuable information that will help you understand all you need to know about committees.

AMUNC veterans will find the 'How to prepare' & 'How committees work' sections useful as well, especially the latter, since it contains the 2008 Rules of Procedure.

This year, committees will be housed in state of the art lecture theatres at The University of Adelaide. The lecture theatres are generously spacious and equipped with the latest technology, i.e. video/audio projectors, microphones and wireless internet connection. All committee theatres are in close proximity to one another, the Security Council and International Court of Justice will be housed in the University's most historic buildings.

Enjoy browsing through all the different committees that are in the menu and be sure to visit the forums to discuss and start the debate on the topics!
