Topic 2: The question of minimising and preventing the spread of HIV AIDS in developing and developed countries.
Director: Bruce Wong

The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) epidemic is a health problem of global proportion, with 95% of new infections of HIV occurring in the world’s poorest countries. Although for quite some time attention has been focused on the world’s poorest countries, HIV/AIDS is now becoming an evident problem in developing and developed countries. The evident polarization in disease circulation calls to attention the need for international commitment and resources geared towards large scale HIV/AIDS prevention efforts in developing and developed countries.
