Secretary-General (SG) Andrew Antenucci
Andrew has completed a double undergraduate degree in Marketing and International Studies, and in 2008 is undertaking an Master of International Studies.
He has attended three AMUNC events: in 2004 and 2005 as a delegate and in 2007 as a director, and he is incredibly passionate about AMUNC.
Andrew is currently working as a University tutor of Italian language, is the current Youth Ambassador to the Italian region of Molise, and regularly commits his time to various Italian community associations. He is involved in university student mobility issues, having been President of the University of South Australia Student Exchange Society from 2004 to 2007.

Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) Michael Healy
Michael is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (corporate finance and accounting) at The University of Adelaide, is the President of the Adelaide University Commerce Students’ Association and the Vice-President of the Australasian Commerce & Economics Students' Association. He has also been a delegate at AMUNC 2007.
In 2004 Michael co-founded the School Entrepreneur competition (now running across 25 schools nation wide) in order to raise awareness and funds for ‘Opportunity International’, a micro-finance-focused NGO. Since 2005, he has been working in the area of tax accountancy and currently also co-runs ‘Vague Clothing’, a fashion company.

Under-Secretary-General of Committees Danijel Malbasa
Danijel is currently studying a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and is in his second year of Law at the University of Adelaide. He has attended a United Nations Summit on Integration in Turkey, assisted in the establishment of the University of South Australia UN Society, and is a founding member of the University of Adelaide UN Society. He has also attended two previous AMUNC’s: in Sydney 2006 and Auckland 2007, and contributed as press team coordinator and as a committee Director during SAMUNC 2007.
Danijel currently works as an interpreter, serves on the Salisbury Youth Advisory Council, and donates his time and assistance to his local Member of Parliament. He has also worked as a research assistant at the University of Adelaide, and as a Legal Aid at the Roma Mitchell Legal Centre.

Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Relations Lorena De Palma
Lorena is studying a Bachelor of Laws and International Studies at Adelaide University and is passionate about Australian politics, international relations and the protection of human rights.
She has a history of involvement and participation in public issues. She has contributed to ‘Young Leaders Day’ which gave her the opportunity to meet people with similar aspirations, the Civics and Citizenship Enquiry in the South Australian House of Assembly which created a dialogue between youth and government representatives with the aim of increasing young peoples’ interest and participation in politics, and in 2007 she participated in the Adelaide Law School Negotiations Competitions.
Lorena is excited to be a part of the AMUNC 2008 Host Team and believes it will be a truly rewarding experience.

Under-Secretary-General of Information and Communication Technologies Sai Perchard
Sai is currently studying Bachelor of Law and Commerce degrees at the University of Adelaide. He has been working in the web development industry for over four years. His web solutions business, Saitech, has been established for over two years. He is on the committee of the Law Student's Society holding the position of IT Officer, and is the Sponsorship Director for the Commerce Students' Association.
Sai has created and is managing the AMUNC 2008 website. His knowledge and experience of web design and programming has allowed for a website tailored to the needs of the conference, enabling a functional, user friendly and aesthetic web presence. His efforts have been integral in presenting a professional online presence for the conference, and providing vital conference resources.

Under-Secretary-General of Logistics Fatema Ayubi
Fatema has worked professionally as an event coordinator and decorator for the past seven years. The events she has coordinated and decorated number in the hundreds, from small intimate affairs to large-scale charity events seating over four hundred guests.
She was the event coordinator and a committee director in SAMUNC 2007 and participated in AMUNC 2007 as a delegate. Fatema regularly volunteers her time both in a professional and personal capacity to various community groups, works as an interpreter and is currently studying a Bachelor of International Studies at The University of Adelaide.
She is a founding member of the University of Adelaide UN Society and her ongoing goal is to extend herself professionally and personally through finding new creative challenges such as AMUNC 2008.

Under-Secretary-General of Marketing Pia Nowland
Pia is currently enjoying her second year of a Bachelor of Media at the University of Adelaide. She is an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with an interest in all fields of media. Throughout her degree she has covered areas such as international politics, media law and policies, as well as advertising through print, radio and televised media.
Currently, she is building her skills in radio production by completing a radio course at ‘Radio Adelaide’ and through her work as a sales team member for ‘Hutchison 3G Australia Telecommunications’, she has developed considerable skills in promotion of products and services

Finance Assistant Emilio Roberts
Emilio Roberts is studying Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce (Corporate Finance) at The University of Adelaide. He is currently a board director of the Adelaide University Union, on the general committee of the Adelaide University Law Students Society and South Australian Youth Convener of the Australian Republican Movement.
In 2007 Emilio attended the Global Young Leader’s Conference and was also selected as best speaker at NT Youth Parliament in 2006. He was an Electorate Officer for Hon. Warren Snowdon MP, the Federal Member for Lingiari, between 2005 and 2007. |

Under-Secretary-General of Marketing Josh Sampson
Josh is currently studying his Honours degree (Australian Studies) at the University of South Australia. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Media Management) from the University of South Australia.
Josh was a delegate at SAMUNC 2007 and is looking to build on the experiences and skills he developed from this conference.
He has worked across a number of industries including hospitality, public relations (Events SA) and sport and recreation management (Minda Incorporated). Two highlights of his industry experience include working at high-profile events Tasting Australia and Tour Down Under. Josh looks forward to the challenge of marketing AMUNC and the further development of his media skills in the process. |

Marketing Assistant Chung Ung
Chung is currently in his third year of a Bachelor of Commerce (Management and corporate finance) at the University of Adelaide.
In addition to the marketing knowledge that he has gained through his degree, he has practical skills developed through professional experience. Chung has had formal training in communication, data collection and sales, together with extensive experience in sales. |

Committees Assistant Anthony Siklich
Anthony is studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International Studies double degree, and is greatly interested in Australian government and politics, as well as international affairs and relations.
Anthony has volunteered his time in numerous nation-wide and community organisations, and became involved in AMUNC 2008 through his involvement in the state-wide SAMUNC held in 2007. |

Communications Assistant Besmellah Rezaee
Besmellah Rezaee currently studies a double degree in Law and International studies at the University of Adelaide. In addition, he works as a Publication officer for Karawaan Organization and hosts a show through Radio Adelaide. He is the president of AUSA (Afghan University Students Association) at present and also works as an interpreter. He has also been the chairman of Hemat (student body of intellectuals and writers). Moreover, he has worked as the public relations officer for Afgha (www.afgha.com, a world wide information network linking Afghan youths).
In the period 2003-2004, Besmellah worked with UNDP as an IT trainer in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has also attended youth parliament of South Australia in 2006 and was selected as the best speaker of the parliament. |
